Long Hoang Pham

I am currently a Senior Researcher in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at Sungkyunkwan University, working in the Automation Lab advised by Prof. Jae Wook Jeon.

My primary research interests lie at the intersection of Computer Vision, Image Processing, and Artificial Intelligence. I am particularly passionate about designing robust, vision-based Intelligent Surveillance Systems to tackle real-world problems and optimizing them for deployment on resource-constrained mobile and edge devices.

Prior to my current research, I worked on practical Machine Vision systems for Industrial Manufacturing and Quality Control, as well as developing industrial mobile applications.

I earned my Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Sungkyunkwan University in 2021. I also hold an M.Tech. in Information Technology Management and a B.Sc. in Computer Science from Vietnam National University HCMC, International University.
